Happy holidays

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas. Mine was something different this year as I was working part of the day. It wasn't that bad, it kind of gave me a bit more Christmas spirit...probably for like the first half an hour, the rest of the shift was a busy blur. Anyway I had a lovely dinner with my family when I got home and got the most amazing presents off everyone. I wore my cream and black Jumpsuit from River Island and flung some makeup on and curls in, I was too tired to make too much of an effort.

Victoria Secret's show 2014

Literally all everyone's talking about lately is the latest Victoria Secrets show. The show included six sections and almost each one had a special guest. First we seen the Gilded Angels which the models wore gold wings, crystal-studded corsets and other over the top touches. Next we seen the section Dream Girl which featured Taylor Swift, who sang Blank Space. All you need to think in this section is pink. I'm not really a fan of Swifty herself but she looked amazing in this pink and black night gown and floor length wrap.

My version of an interview outfit 📝👗

Soooo I've just been for another job interview, it actually went really well and I so hope I hear from them soon. At first I was so confused on what to wear a lot of people stick to black and white smart, obviously you have to go smart to make an impression but I still like to put my own style to things. I'm really not a one I follow the crowd.

Orange is the new black 🍊

Although im a massive fan of the netflix series Orange is the new black, this post is totally not about a show but about my new orange hair. I've had my hair red for as long as I can remember and then I slightly changed it 2 year ago when I added ombré to it.

Summer shoe fettish 👟👡👠

I'm a sucker for a pair of shoes. Any style of shoes you name it I'll have it, apart from dolly shoes there a no go for me, my feet look toooooo long in them, platforms are my fave.
Anyway my recent purchases may have to be some of my favourite shoes in my wardrobe ever. I first bought these lovely black block heeled sandals, with double gold buckle detailing.

Textiles

This post is kind of fashion based but not the usual. I'm recently in the middle of finishing my second year of college and have literally just finished my textiles A2 exam. We had 15 hours to create anything we wanted, I tend to stick to making dresses as it's what I'm good at. They aren't necessarily something you'd wear as they are more based around textile techniques, which is what we get marked on. Anyway my project was based on surface and textures-looking at rust, fungi, mould and things like that. I first made the skirt of my dress using plastic and trapping materials/wool/yarn in between, I then melted and created a underskirt the same but the plastic was brown coloured. I added wadding to the waist of the skirt so the skirt would puff out slightly.

Liverpool luxuries 💰🌸

For the last three days I have been in Liverpool, had a brilliant time with my mam, dad and Zac, spending lots of money and visiting some lovely attractions, didn't want to come home and be back to reality. Whilst I was there I had a spree, Liverpool1 shopping centre is hugeee.

Legs eleven

I desporatly need to sort my wardrobe out these Easter holidays and I'll be selling things on eBay very soon. To start some of my new wardrobe I bought some leg wear, which I really needed anyway I promise. I first bought some check leggings which were £8 and a black denim skirt that was £10 both from Matalan. They're both of really good quality and the leggings aren't see-through at all which can be a big problem sometimes. Sorry for the terrible photo!

MissGuided mistake

I ordered some items from Monday from MissGuided and the delivery was so quick, I even loved the little bit of love they've put in their delivery with the mini Kinda Bueno and free Graze box vouchers. I ordered a PVC mini skirt in white which was £18, I was so looking forward to it coming but sadly very disappointed when I tried the item on,

Tesco tastic

At the moment tesco have an amazing range of pastels in ready for s/s14, they've also got a great range of bold, block colours maybe for those days you feel abit daring. I love both! I didn't have much money on me so I whittled it down to these two lovely pieces. I love checks, can't get enough of them and this knee length fitted skirt In a size 10 was just £18, it's actually really comfortable stud and sat down which I don't usually seem to find with knee length skirts. The top is a lovely cropped pastel blue fluffy jumper sized 10 also at just £16, it's a lovely fit and doesn't itch at all. I didn't purposely buy these items to go together but I think they match nicely, sorry about the tag and the messy hair, it had been raining outside!

On trend for S/S14

Last year the juju jellies made an appearance in summer, there back again this year but with even more styles and shapes. I recently got these ones as a birthday present from River Island just priced at £18 which I thought was a very good price for shoes from River as they're usually around £30-£50+. I absolutely love the green and gold sparkle In them.

Falsieeeees!!

I use to love sitting and painting my nails, playing with them for hours but I got sick of the varnish just chipping. I recently had my nails done at Christmas with acrylic nails which I would deffinitly not reccomend, totally ruined my nails. I then got these done this week for my 18th and they are fab! They are gel nails with shellac polish and... It's none chip!! I absolutely love them and if anyone is interested or lives near my town add gelnails Joanne on Facebook, very reasonably priced!!

Audrey Hepburn

This lady has to be one of my favourite women ever, one of my Idols. She is so poised even with a coffee and some sort of food in her hands. I absolutely love black and white images of her, she's just Wow. Breakfast at Tiffany's is a classic, I can't actually believe my Zac doesn't know who she is. Is he mad. I think I'm going to have to tape to a chair and watch it. I'd love to be Audreys best friend, with the pearls and the jewels. She is the definition of Class. I love you Audez X

Newby Alert!!

I've wanted to make a blog for sometime now and i've finally got round to doing it. Seen as though I'm new here ill let you know a few things about me. I am almost 18 and study A level textiles and photography at Brinkburn sixth form in Hartlepool. After finishing this year I will be continuing my studies at CCAD Middlesbrough, this will be a foundation course. The thought of Uni scares me. I'd say I have my own individual style, especially my hair. I'm just in love with it as well as my boyfriend of course. We've been together 7 months now and its amazing spending so much time with my best friend. I really want this blog to be about my opinions, mainly on fashion but the odd other things sometimes. I mean I really dislike people who think that only their opinion matters. But ye thats a bit about me and if anyone has some advice on how to use blogger, please please help me!!

Thankyou, Lucie X
